Mounting a new website direction & SEO focus
Hang My TV is one of Australia’s best known companies to help you wall mount your new big screen TV. A new website was required to help HMTV leverage their advertising spend and increase their Google organic search traffic.
Before
The previous Hang My TV website was designed, built and managed. by the company while the company was in the start-up phase. Kudos. to HMTV in ranking #1 for their name “Hang My TV” As more money was being spent on radio and pay-per-click Google ads, it was seen necessary to upgrade the website and optimise the site for organic online search and to leverage the increased traffic to the site. The existing site needed work to include the brand promise and what HMTV offered, as well as why HMTV was different to its competitors. Clearer call-to-action points, and better information layout was required to present HMTV as a more professional and reputable company.

The new HMTV website now presents HMTV as a cohesive and professional company servicing the Melbourne and Brisbane markets.
Keyword research was undertaken to uncover larger volume search terms users were conducting to get their TVs mounted. After monitoring and optimising for the top 25 relevant keyword phrases, we were able to increase the rankings by 526 positions over the first 4 weeks, and from having 7 top 10 search results, we were able to increase that to 17 top 10 positions an increase of 243% in position rankings within the top 10.
