Read on as we explain Squarespace it does…

Squarespace is not only perfect for creatives , but perfect for any business that wants a professional website, and image that matches their brand– it has the best quality features and the best template designs on the market.

But is there a catch? Do you have to pay through the nose for Squarespace’s high quality service and products? How many price plans does it have – and which is best for you?

These are common questions Squarely gets, and we’re going to answer them all here. Let’s answer the most important question first, with a quick look at Squarespace’s four price plans.

Squarespace Pricing Plans

Squarespace has four price plans to choose from – two website builder plans, and two online store plans. Which one you choose depends on your needs (As of April 2020).

  • Personal Plan: AUD $16/Month

  • Business Plan: AUD $25/Month

  • Commerce Basic: AUD $34/Month

  • Commerce Advanced: AUD $52/Month

Squarespace Pricing Breakdown

Squarespace pricing is pretty simple. The Personal plan is designed for individual use, with a great range of basic features. The Business plan includes a professional email and basic selling tools. The Basic Commerce plan is for online stores, while the Advanced Commerce plan is built to grow an ecommerce business.

It can be hard choosing the best price plan, or know whether you’re getting good value for your money

Who Is Each Squarespace Plan For?

Squarespace’s cheapest plan is the Personal plan (AUD $16/month) which, unsurprisingly, is designed for personal websites. You can’t sell online, but you do get to use most other Squarespace features. You’ll use the same editor, get the same selection of templates, and still receive a free custom domain, SSL security, and 24/7 support.

Upgrade to the Business plan (AUD $25/month) and you can start selling online. This is more suitable to businesses who just have the odd product to sell, and want some ecommerce functionality. There is a 3% transaction charge on all sales, though, so it’s not recommended for site’s whose sole purpose is to sell products.

The Basic Commerce plan (AUD$34/month) is for fully-fledged online stores. You’ll get specific tools to help you manage your store – like mobile-optimized checkouts, integrated accounting, and customer accounts – and can sell directly on Instagram too.

The Advanced Commerce plan’s (AUD$52/month) main focus is to boost your sales. Abandoned cart recovery, gift cards, and flexible discounts are all features designed to entice more customers into purchasing from you. These, coupled with advanced tools for shipping, help make up Squarespace’s most complete package.
