Firstly… How to change the default fonts in Squarespace
New to Squarespace, or just need a refresher on how to change the default fonts? Here’s how to do it in three simple steps:
Open your website from the Squarespace Dashboard.
Click Design, then Site Styles, and Fonts.
From here you can select to change the style of the Headings, Paragraphs, Buttons etc
Click Family and select your desired font

How to add custom fonts to Squarespace
Did you know that you can add any custom font in Squarespace? That means you don’t have to be limited by the built-in fonts. Here’s how to add your own font:
Click Design > Custom CSS > Manage custom files.
Then click Add images or fonts, and upload the font file.
Paste this code in the custom CSS code area (the white box):
@font-face { font-family: custom-font; src: url(); }
h1, h2, h3, h4, .sqsrte-large, p, .sqsrte-small { font-family: custom-font; }
Now click on the space between the brackets in the code src: url(), and then select your uploaded font from the Manage Custom Files menu. The URL will automatically be added.
Save and your custom font is added! If you don’t want the custom font on headings you can remove h1, h2, h3, h4, from the code, or be more specific by only removing it from Heading 3 by removing h3, from the code.
